The following are different types of therapy that you may be considering. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Schema-Focused Therapy are the primary forms of therapy provided by CTA’s affiliate therapists. Other types of psychotherapy and therapeutic techniques are described below, along with some similarities and differences in comparison with CBT and Schema Therapy:  However, we concur with the research that shows that Cognitive Therapy is effective while many of these forms of therapy, including Freudian Psychotherapy don’t tend to produce measurable results.

However, because our therapists have all been trained in many forms of therapy they may incorporate in elements of several modalities of therapy into their treatment plan.
